What if…

You Could read a law case

the same way you read lyrics?

BRIEF. makes it easy

While taking an interdisciplinary course Law, Race, & Design, I was prompted to think of how reading legal jargon– from a parking ticket to a full-on Supreme Court case brief– could be simplified and easy to digest. Working with a team of three other students, I developed BRIEF.: a community-oriented educational tool designed by students for students. BRIEF. provides text from actual legal cases from U.S. history and allows established legal thinkers– as well as your average "Joe"– to weigh in on documents of law by annotating the documents themselves.
